Dr Hamed Soroush of PETROLERN LLC gave a seminar for students at Georgia Tech, School of Civil and Environmental Engineering on 31st August 2018. The seminar, titled “The Cost Saving Role of Geomechanics in the Oil and Gas Industry,” walked the audiences through some of the applications of geomechanics in the oil and gas industry providing field examples from around the world, showing the cost saving capabilities of geomechanics in drilling, completion and production operations. Thanks to Dr Haiying Huang and Dr David Frost for arranging the seminar and all the attendees for their participation.
